Reiki for All
Almost 30 years ago my daughter and I became dual Reiki Masters in the Usui Tibetan Healing System. In that time we have attuned hundreds of Reiki students to the Art of REIKI.
REIKI means Divinely guided (REI) life force and energy (KI). It's beautiful gift to the creatures, to humanity and to all of life is that it approaches healing as a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual lack of alignment. As it "knows where to go" when hands are placed on the body, one can just move into a glorious state of "allowing" and the Life Force of God does "its work."
Your animal friend, like you, expresses as a living biofield and like you exists in an energetic interaction with his/her environment. Our sense of well being is in a constant state of flux. Any energetic imbalance can manifest itself as a disease and Reiki can restore balance and harmony in the energy field of your pet. Pets are often under enormous stress from their environment, from athletic competition, from the loss of one of their pet or human friends or simply from an illness which they have contracted.
Picture a class of students who have all learned Reiki, using it to Reiki themselves and their horse before a class or competition. Imagine the relaxed and stress free feeling of entering the ring without tense muscles and an over active brain. As injury most frequently occurs when we are tense, Reiki is a wonderful addition to the life of any athlete.
Animals are sweetly open to receive Reiki. I have had highly strung horses literally fall asleep in my arms as the energy releases their trauma and tension throughout their bodies. It is especially useful when you are putting your pet to sleep, it reduces their anxiety and the transition is very peaceful.
Unlike most people, animals relish receiving the life force necessary for their healthy existence. They sense the need for what energy healing can do for them. They willingly participate in the therapy without any hindrance of fear or doubt. Animals have no belief system blockages and thus easily respond to Reiki therapy with a great sense of gratitude, often sleeping with ease after their session.
